2012 - Queen Elizabeth II - Service of Celebration. Welcome to the Hadleigh Town Council website. Hadleigh is a small market town with a population of around 10,000. For many years, the figure had been about 3,000 but during the second half of the 20th century the town began to expand eastwards with new housing and some light industry. The old part of the town lies in a valley with the River Brett forming its western boundary.
Hadleigh Town Hall and Guildhall Complex is one of the finest medieval buildings in East Anglia and the only one available for hire in our beautiful market town that can trace its origins back to the 15th Century.
